This would be a great book for someone who had absolutely no experience with babies or toddlers and had truly no idea what to do with one. However, for anyone who has had any experience with them at all, this is not that great. I was hoping to get some new ideas of stuff to do with my babies and toddlers, but the book only has stuff that I already do (i.e. play peekaboo with a baby, blocks with a toddler, wear a baby in a wrap, bring a toddler to the park, etc) No novel or original ideas at all, so had to send it back. I gave it two stars because the pictures are nice and for someone who is new to babies, it would probably be beneficial (though unless you are completely thick, you'd probably already know to smile at your baby and bathe them...) )
